Perl Weekly Challenge - 004

Sunday, Apr 14, 2019| Tags: Perl, Raku

I noticed last week, less participation than the previous week. Why? Honestly speaking I have no clue. Could it be the questions were too tricky for the challenge? The week before, I received the feedback that the questions were too easy and simple. So I went for little trickier one this time. It seems that I have to balance it somehow.

I am gratefull to all members submitting the solutions as Pull Request. It makes my life so easy. You are still welcome to send your solutions by replying to the same email.

I have a small request to all members, can you please send us your photo which you already used on various other social platform? And your country as well. I need members photo for my weekly review. Without photo, the review looks dull. About country, I am working on new chart showing members distribution by country. It is going to be interesting to see the breakdown.

RECAP

Recap of last week challenge is now available here.

Last but not the least if you have any suggestions for future challenges then please do share with us. Good luck and have fun.

Challenge #1

Write a script to output the same number of PI digits as the size of your script. Say, if your script size is 10, it should print 3.141592653.

Challenge #2

You are given a file containing a list of words (case insensitive 1 word per line) and a list of letters. Print each word from the file that can be made using only letters from the list. You can use each letter only once (though there can be duplicates and you can use each of them once), you don’t have to use all the letters. (Disclaimer: The challenge was proposed by Scimon Proctor)

Last date to submit the solution 6 pm (UK Time) Sunday 21st April 2019.

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK ?
