Challenge tasks published each week are sourced by the organiser, primarily by searching publicly available resources including Google Search and other open references. Unless a challenge task has been explicitly suggested or co-created by a team member or community contributor (in which case full credit is given), the challenges are independently composed.
The Weekly Challenge does not claim ownership of any underlying mathematical concepts, algorithms, or problem types that may appear in the tasks, as these are part of the wider public domain of computer science and mathematics.
